February 3, 2007—NADA’s 2007 convention opened this morning with the traditional seat-belt unbuckling ceremony—officiated by NADA chairman William Bradshaw—admitting dealers to the exhibit floor. This year’s show, the 90th, is expected to host more than 26,000 attendees, who will find nearly 600 exhibits with the latest industry products and services. Bradshaw welcomed dealers to a full slate of workshops, franchise meetings, and general sessions. Bradshaw also welcomed special guest Kaydi Cole the reigning Miss Nevada to join him in the cutting of the ceremonial ribbon to officially open the exposition and convention. Accompanied by a zydeco brass band Bradshaw led NADA dignitaries and guests in a hand-clapping march through the exhibition hall.
