February 12, 2006—ADP introduces a number of new features, including:

  • Data visualization technology that makes large amounts of information easier to interpret and compare by using colored icons instead of clunky charts and tables

  • Video phone technology that allows callers to see each other and eliminates expensive long-distance calls by routing them over  the Internet

  • CRM follow-up services that use direct mail, e-mail, recorded voice, and live voice to automatically make sales follow-ups, service-appointment reminders, vehicle pickup messages, and other “follow-up events”

  • A simplified billing system so dealers know exactly what they’re getting and what they’re paying

  • A single log-on giving dealers access to every system they use

  • Self-healing technology that detects and remedies data issues before they become a problem

  • Warranty tracking so dealers can monitor what parts are being held and which have been shipped back to the manufacturer, limiting liability for manufacturer charge-backs.
