February 12, 2006—ADP introduces a number of new features, including:
Data visualization technology that makes large amounts of information easier to interpret and compare by using colored icons instead of clunky charts and tables
Video phone technology that allows callers to see each other and eliminates expensive long-distance calls by routing them over the Internet
CRM follow-up services that use direct mail, e-mail, recorded voice, and live voice to automatically make sales follow-ups, service-appointment reminders, vehicle pickup messages, and other “follow-up events”
A simplified billing system so dealers know exactly what they’re getting and what they’re paying
A single log-on giving dealers access to every system they use
Self-healing technology that detects and remedies data issues before they become a problem
Warranty tracking so dealers can monitor what parts are being held and which have been shipped back to the manufacturer, limiting liability for manufacturer charge-backs.
