TODAY’S QUESTION:
How will this year’s NADA convention help in your store?

John Kull

Aside from attending some workshops, focused primarily on used cars, we are trying to gather as much information as possible on used-car facilities, since we just bought a large property to house a used-car operation. We’re also doing a little sightseeing.

John Kull, Kull Motors, Marlton, N.J.

Andy Bryant

Every year we find something to take away, mostly information on things we might purchase through the year. It’s too hard to discuss everything or make deals here on the expo floor, so we do it from home. We also find the seminars a great value. We also just went through a GM fixed-operations analysis, which was outstanding.

Andy Bryant, Smokey Point Buick/Pontiac/GMC, Arlington, Wash.

Rick Yemm

I really enjoy the made meetings both at GM and at Chrysler. We get a lot of good information and insight, and during Q & A, we get a feeling of what’s happening with dealers from all parts of the country. I don’t get to these conventions very often, so this is great. Lots of good stuff.

Rick Yemm, Yemm Chevrolet/Buick/Chrysler/Jeep, Galesburg, Ill.
