SEARCH-ENGINE MANAGEMENT SERVICE OFFERED BY CARS.COM

           Customers at computer

Problem: Only 3 percent of online car shoppers start at dealer sites.

February 13, 2006— Dealers' best leads come from their own Web sites, but only 3 percent of today's car shoppers start at a dealer site, says Cars.com. To boost that number, the company's CPC Logic division has introduced a search-engine management service.

CPC Logic will tailor search-engine campaigns to fit dealers' budgets, helping them select and bid on the most effective key words for their stores, create ad copy, track traffic, and monitor billing with the search engines. It can also give dealers reports on key-word return on investment.
